October is {Just} Another Month...

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

October 1st kicks off my favorite month! It’s both my husband's & my birthday month, it’s our son's 1/2 birthday month, it’s pumpkins, football, cooler days {hopefully!}…It’s also always been Breast Cancer Awareness Month, that’s not a new thing. But for our family it’s new and another reason October will always be one of our most celebrated months. In the beginning of August we were waiting on just “another October” but today it hits differently. On Tuesday my Oncologist said the simple statement… “You’ll continue to see me, as I see breast cancer survivors very regularly…” she continued speaking but I heard nothing…”Breast Cancer Survivors”…in that moment I felt different. I felt relief, joy, thankfulness, emotional, overwhelmed and determined. My story and journey doesn’t stop because I beat this first part. I’ll never be the same; physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. I now join yet another community, support the mission, the calling to bring awareness, to bring hope, to bring transparency, to bring light to how cancer forever affects you. The tumor is gone, but my story is just getting started. Today is October 1st & while we can enjoy all things pumpkin… I encourage you to pull out your pink, pray for a cure, pray for those that are deep in the battle, pray for survivors…as our Octobers will never be the same...
